Network Time Server 7001(RC) with NTP LAN Board(s) 7273(RC) or 7274(RC)

Short Description

By implementation of NTP LAN Boards 7273(RC) or NTP LAN Boards 7274(RC) (10/100/1000 Mbit/s autosensing, VLAN, Bonding, PRP) system 7001(RC) becomes a highly accurate NTP Stratum 1 Time Server for synchronization of computers and industrial networks.

System 7001(RC) can either be delivered with NTP LAN Board(s) 7273(RC) / with NTP LAN Board(s) 7274(RC) from the factory or subsequently extended by board(s) 7273(RC) / 7274(RC) in the field.

  • System 7001: up to 8 NTP LAN Board(s) 7273 / 7274 implementable
  • System 7001RC: up to 31 NTP LAN Board(s) 7273RC / 7274RC implementable

The modular design structure of system 7001(RC) also allows the combination of one board 7273(RC) / one board 7274(RC) with any other function board suitable for system 7001(RC).

  • GPS System to be modularly equipped with function boards
  • High availability based on hot-plug capability:
    • Removal and installation of function boards during operation
    • Failure of single function boards do not influence the functions of the other boards
  • Channels for parameterization/monitoring:
    • Keypad and operating menu via display
    • Serial connection via the hmc (hopf Management Console)
    • WEB-GUI and SNMP for function boards with LAN interface
    • Option: LAN connection via the hmc including monitoring via SNMP

Erweiterungen

The base system 7001(RC)-DCF is equipped with function boards for the output of required signals according to the provided customer specifications. The possible number of functions boards to be integrated and upgraded is primarily determined by the number of available slots in 19" rack and the power supply capacity.
