On June 30, 2015 it's time for inserting another leap second! Why's that?!

As rotation of the earth globe decreases and - as a result - the length of the day increases, the UTC-time needs to be adapted to the actual rotation of the earth. This is done via the leap second!

    rear view 8029HEPTA Industry with 3 mutually independent NTP time server, 2 x IRIG-B analogue (BNC connector), 2 x IRIG-B digital (connector block) as well as 2 x DCF77 pulse and 2 x cyclic pulses (fiber optic in each case)
    • 1 independent NTP time server is already integrated in your system
    • can be equipped with up to 2 additional mutually independent NTP time server
    • individual shafts of your system can be configred with different signal output modules like
      • IRIG-B (analogue / digital)
      • DCF77
