IRIG-A / IRIG-B Data Output

By means of this board the time information can be put out either in the IRIG-A or the IRIG-B code. The 10 / 1 kHz amplitude modulated signal as well as the data content as pulse width data string on TTL level is available. The carrier signal for the amplitude modulation can be varied between 0.5 Vss to 3 Vss. The carrier dip is 3:1.

Please take note that in this version the data strings contain the time and the day of the current year. A complete date must be calculated on the receiver side by entering the year.

At present the data output is still on separate boards. The IRIG-B code is put out via the board 7230 and the IRIG-A code is put out via the 7250 board.
