Boards 7201/7210/7221 |
|
This board makes it possible to supply superior computers and systems with the actual time via a serial interface. The following hardware drivers are available:
All serial in- and outputs are potential free. The handshake signals RTS/CTS are an alternative for the RS232-operation.
Baudrate, word length, stop and parity bits, points of time for the output and different data stings can be selected by means of dipswitch.
The data transfer occurs at a 25-pole SUB-D female connector on the front panel of the board. A pulse input of 5 - 24 V can activate an event storage. When the board is used in DCF77-systems the event is stored millisecond precise, in GPS-system microsecond precise, and then put out via the serial interface. The repeat rate of the pulse request is a max. 200 µsec. for 20 consecutive pulses.
This board contains the hardware for the serial data transmission line TXD. There are 4 x each RS232-, RS422- and TTY-transmission line available. The board can be placed after every serial interface which then supplies it with the transmission data string. Therefore different computer systems can receive the same time data string for the synchronisation. This board can be switched to active in the TTY operation..
The data are transmitted at the SUB-D connector
This board is functionally the same as the unit 7201. But this board is additionally equipped with the hardware for another 7 transmission lines TXD, each in RS232 and RS422 technique, to enable the board to supply other computers with the same time data string. The data are transmitted at 9-pole SUB-D-connectors in the front panel.
